Stitch And Glue Racing Canoe

The stitch and glue canoe building method is an easy and affordable way for a beginning canoeist to make his or her own boat. basically, the technique consists of gluing panels of plywood together using epoxy and fiberglass.. The boat is constructed in a multichine, marine plywood style with epoxy glass laminates inside and out in a stitch and glue style. stainless t-nuts are embedded in the hull deck surface from below to provide a secure set of mounting points for the aka wing. instead, it is a very fast sea kayak in the racing boat style with its lowered aft. I built a small, fast and light sport row boat from plywood and epoxy resin. a short reportage of the work...and result. the boat has a length of 4 meters and a weight of about 16 kilos..
